  3. Not bad for a woman who very well may have been an agent for the OSS, WWII version of the CIA. I always hated listening to Julia Child, but her cooking techniques and recipes are excellent. I own every book she published. I actually have 1st editions of “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” One of my favorite and mostly used cookbooks.

    I received the Art of French cooking by Julia Child, et.al. and found out that I’m not the cook I thought I was. It’s a bit beyond the person who enjoys cooking but likes the 30 minute meal. It is a treasure and I will try to make a few things out of it, but I doubt I would live very long if I ate the way Julia cooked.
